CurrysPCWorld Christmas Wish List


Our Currys / PC World Christmas Wish List campaign is now live!



The challenge is to get consumers to consider Currys / PC World for their Christmas gifts and make it their destination to purchase. Our research found that people are looking for inspiration and expertise when looking for gifting ideas around Christmas. This led us to our proposition that Currys and PC World could provide inspiring, expert advice for gifting at Christmas, which in turn led to the creative concept Christmas Wish Lists. 

Following our award-winning 2011 Wish List campaign, the 2012 activity asks consumers to create their own Christmas Wish Lists from five categories and encourages them to share their list with friends and family for the chance to win their list worth up to £5000 weekly. Every day there is also the chance to win a £500 gift card. By running the activity online, on mobile, through social media and in-store we're maximising the impact of the Wish List campaign, encouraging customers to see the best technology that Currys and PC World have to offer.

Medley Airplay Tour


FMBX News airs our tastebuds tour!

'McVitie’s delicious biscuit bar range is celebrating being voted Snack Product of the Year 2012 with the launch of a new Double Chocolate variant and an engaging new advertising campaign.

The Medley ‘Air-Play Tour’ consists of creative and elaborate sets replicating a concert rig, spotlights, film crew and stage. Consumers will have the chance to air-perform with various Medley instruments and their footage will be shared online afterwards via Facebook and You Tube. '

Ambrosia Sampling Campaign

The Ambrosia team has hit the roads this week beginning their summer long tour of the country sampling their new range of flavours and snack pots! Consumers can compete for the ‘Ultimate Devon Experience’ by getting the highest score on our Whack a Snack game.

Don’t worry, the team will be visiting all major towns and cities this summer for you to have the chance to win the prize, just look out for the unbelievably oversized spoon chasing the Ambrosia pot.

Lego Technic

It's not all doom and gloom here at WAX HQ as we're heading to the annual IPM awards night after work and we're all very excited because our LEGO campaign has been nominated for 'Best Experiential Campaign at Point of Sale'.

Why it deserves to win?
We created the 'LEGO Technic Design Garage' where kids could come and build their dream vehicle and be in for a chance to win a chauffeured
ride to school in the 'Bat-mobile'. All winners were selected by judges from The Gadget Show, How It Works magazine and LEGO Technic -
Impressed? We were.

We partnered up with Smyths toy store, LEGOLAND Windsor, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and Center Parcs and brought the 'LEGO Technic Design
Garage' to 16 stores across the country and produced pre-promotional media. The activity was also promoted on the Nickelodeon Channel for a chance to have their entry on TV.

Showcasing eight premium spirit brands, jetsetters are invited to a enjoy tasty tipple while learning about the brands’ importance in the perfect cocktail. It’s there throughout May, so if you’re going anywhere nice feel free to drop on by.
